The company offers a wide range of services developed independently across departments, lacking strategic alignment with its mission. A unified overview is missing, limiting transparency and coordinated management of the service portfolio.
Using qualitative document analysis and expert interviews, 23 services were documented in standardized fact sheets based on an adapted Business Model Canvas. The framework was refined through two interview rounds to ensure consistency and strategic relevance.
The resulting service fact sheets provide a clear, comparable overview of the company’s offerings, highlighting strategic functions, resource needs, and market positioning. The analysis revealed a strong reliance on internal know-how, inconsistencies in pricing, and limited cross-departmental coordination. The framework supports mission-driven service development, improved internal communication, and strategic decision-making. Recommendations include implementing regular reviews, simplifying pricing structures, enhancing knowledge management, and integrating external stakeholder feedback. This foundation enables the company to manage its service portfolio more transparently and strategically in alignment with its mission.
