AMAG Leasing AG faces significant challenges in its release management processes, including frequent software quality issues, operational disruptions, and the complexities of managing legacy systems. The study employs a qualitative approach, involving semi-structured interviews with key stakeholders and document analysis of internal processes and retrospectives. This methodology provides a comprehensive understanding of the current state of release management at AMAG Leasing AG. The implementation of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is evaluated through these insights to propose improvements and address the identified challenges.
The study reveals that implementing SAFe can significantly enhance the release management processes at AMAG Leasing AG. Key improvements include better alignment with business goals, enhanced team collaboration, and increased efficiency in software delivery. By adopting SAFe, AMAG Leasing AG can expect a reduction in software quality issues and operational disruptions. The structured processes and continuous feedback loops inherent in SAFe foster an environment of continuous improvement and responsiveness to market changes. Additionally, the cultural shift towards more collaboration and trust among teams is anticipated to create a more positive and productive work environment. Overall, the study provides actionable insights and practical recommendations that guide AMAG Leasing AG towards sustainable improvements in their release management processes, aligning them more closely with their strategic objectives and enhancing their capability to deliver high-quality software efficiently.
