This master thesis explores the topic of knowledge sharing in Scrum teams. Knowledge sharing is an important part of the daily work of Scrum teams, nevertheless, the lack of it is often a cause of many conflicts and problems that hinder the Scrum team’s daily work and in effect diminishes the value created by the team, which can lead to project delays.
Therefore, within the confines of this thesis, a study was carried out on how to assess the practice and success of knowledge sharing in Scrum teams to support them in overcoming the negative consequences of insufficient knowledge management.
The goal of the thesis is to create a concept of an assessment tool for Scrum teams, based on academic literature and interviews with expert practitioners. Using the design science research methodology, an artifact was developed and evaluated to provide a solution proposal for the discussed problem.
