Cloud Service Brokerage platforms are at a very early stage compared to most IT systems. Most of the architecture of such system does satisfy the existing demand of Cloud Consumers and Cloud Providers. However going ahead these systems have to evolve to make it easier for Cloud Consumers to work with it. One aspect of Cloud Computing is choosing the right service according to your needs. In the wide and varied world of Cloud Services, each service varies according to technical aspects, specifications, limitations and much more. Locating a suitable service means the consumer needs to compare various services, know all specifications related to his service and make a choice. The next generation of Cloud Service Brokerage platform will be expected to make it easier to make choices and comparison. To do so these systems will need to introduce some artificial intelligence in decision-making. This is exactly where there is a need for a smarter system. This paper researches into aspects that define a “SMART” Cloud Service Brokerage platform. The focus is on Profile based approach to make smarter decisions leading to better search and suggestion results.
