Project Triage is for individuals who demonstrate weaknesses in basic skills such as Mathematics, Reading, Writing and Communication Technology. The goal of the bachelor thesis was to provide a possible online tool, which was visually represented with the help of mock-ups. Furthermore, the stakeholders had to be analyzed, the processes understood, as well as to dive into the subject matter to see where added value could be generated with the help of technical tools. Furthermore, how best to implement the customer's wishes to complete the app or website.
As part of the triage project, the bachelor thesis author identified the needs of the customer and the team involved, as well as the sub-processes and processes used. In addition, the author defined the structure of the website, how it could possibly look like. At present still, suitable tasks are missing. Therefore, the structure could still change how the tasks could look. Based on Lea.otu, the author created the website and the app, respectively. Finally, a recommendation of the possible programs was made in order to be able to produce the required tool.
In conclusion, it can be said that the Triage project has made further progress and is somewhat closer to its goal. There is now a possible tool available and their recommendations for which programs would be best to implement. As it can help many people in Switzerland, there is certainly an added value for many, as it affects a certain percentage in Switzerland. These people have weaknesses in basic skills. By implementing the website or the app, the project team will be able to provide a tool for advising institutions and organizations in Switzerland with an added value because it was previously mostly done with the help of paper forms. This should generally serve as a more effective and efficient solution to better support individuals with weaknesses in basic competencies in the future.
In addition, it is a tool that has been designed to be user-friendly and more appealing with the help of graphical elements. The tool should also be very easy to use no matter by whom. Finally, it can be said that the tool can be changed at any time and interpreted differently according to the given tasks that will come up.
