During my research i found out that health care providers were not prepared for the digital transformation which has been speeden up by the Covid Pandemic. Furthermore research state that atopic dermatitis sufferers quit their therapy due to lack of information and awareness, lack of trust in dermatologists, emotional burden and physical pain. Therefore we want to figure out a solution
I conducted research about the inflammatory diseases such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, Augmented reality and digital transformation. Furthermore I did a thourough market research in the health care sector and how it has been shaped by technological innovation such as AR and VR. After completing the market research and competitor analysis I build our business model and came up with a possible solution how we can build our business, develop a strategy which sustainable and funding options.
By indicating opportunities of AR and its projected market growth in the health care market, I was able to show a need for new AR developments in this field. I provided two examples of existing digital businesses who operate in the same industry, in order to convince the reader of our idea how such an app looks like in the real world. The literature review and research part were the base for our business model, in the end I was able to answer my research questions positively by providing facts and figures.
