Ritter HRSafehouse is owned by Dr. Walter Ritter. His entire business so far has been based on established contacts through his network. Now the question has been raised on how to best target new clients, out of the scope of his network, emphasizing on small and medium sized-enterprises (SMEs).
Interviews were held with a prior established interview guide which was put together by the researcher and the business owner. The guide was made from questions to identify the needs of SMEs in Human Resources matters.
The thesis consists of three main parts, which are the research, the evaluation and the recommendations.
The evaluation was conducted as a systematic textual analysis, retrieving the most important parts from the interview guide, analyzing the answers and summarizing those accordingly.
Through the establishment of a simple marketing plan the market situation was analyzed, from which objectives were set for the future of Ritter HRSafehouse. Recommendations on how to tackle those objectives are stated as a final step and as a tool for Ritter HR Safehouse to retain and acquire customers.
The underlying theory of the different methods and tools are supported through thorough research either online or in the library.
,There is a clear line in the roles of the according HR responsible people and where the main focus lays. To a majority of SMEs the company values and the “how-to” on efficient and right talent acquisition is a topic they want to gain more insight and learn from an external consultant. The service of Ritter HRSafehouse has been evaluated as insightful, helpful and adding value to the SME.
The interviews and the background research on HR requirements for SMEs have shown that there are quite a few companies which offer the products Ritter HRSafehouse is offering. This finding leads to the recommendation of two main options:
-The intensive and serious development of the product offering with a fitted price scheme as mentioned in recommendation 6. The services must be ideally compared to the services of other HR consulting companies offering the same service.
-Discontinuance of business
