The facility management product used by Axept should aim to provide a flexible solution that allows customers to efficiently and effectively record and identify constructional measures, create, compare and us investment plans. However, Axept AG's current facility management product has been created out of an opportunity and is thus not adapted to the market yet, ultimately rendering it less competitive in its current state.
The following market analysis aims to deliver a decision basis for the Provis constructional measures software regarding whether or not re-development is beneficial. To achieve our objective and provide a reommendation, we acquired primary data through interviews with potential customers of the product. The primary data is supported by theoretical framework that are used as a basis for a market/product analysis. This includes a preliminary analysis of potential customers, the competition, a risk and opportunity analysis and a product analysis.
Upon completion of the project, Axept has been given a broad overview regarding the current market conditions of constructional measures software including features and aspects that companies desire as part of the software. This market analysis and especially primary data collected through the interviews allows Axept to make an informed decision on the Provis constructional measures future use. Therefore, the result of the market analysis, conducted with potential customers, combining expertise and know-how, is a decision basis and recommendation for the development of a product, that suits the various needs of the customer.
