SME are the backbone of the Swiss economy. Most enterprises in Switzerland have less than 50 employees, and many of them do not have their own HR department. But these companies are facing HR challenges as well. Without trained personnel, these challenges are hard to solve for SME. This master thesis verified these challenges and tested, whether a market opportunity for the digital provision of HR information is existing. The goal of the thesis was to identify a market opportunity for an HR information platform and to provide Swiss SME with practical knowledge to tackle their challenges by themselves. With the design thinking methodology, one iteration was conducted, and a prototype was designed to test customer feedback for a first evaluation of the market potential and a potential business model. The findings reveal that Swiss SMEs have challenges regarding HR. The most challenging topic is recruiting. To verify if an HR information platform supports Swiss SME recruiting content is provided onto a prototype. Regarding this specific content, it can be said that there are added value and demand. The structure of the recruiting information is a mixture of articles and step-by-step guide. Consumers of the information could make use of the information with this representation....
