There is a steady increase in the interest of business process management (BPM) in companies globally since years. At companies especially in the field of business process redesign and improvement. These business process improvement activities are knowledge and experience intensive tasks. Therefore, it can be very time consuming and hence expensive to assess the situation. BPM consultants are needed more than ever because they can provide the required BPM knowledge for business process improvement. As technology evolves, more and more business processes are getting digitalized and automated to support process stakeholders. However, the practice of decision-making of BPM consultants determining suitable business process improvement methods can be further supported.
