Effective communication with team members and with customers is essential for developing a satisfactory solution. This can be achieved with the visualisation of a solution model. Since, visualisation is assisted by sketching, it becomes important for the designers to be good at sketching in order to express their imagination. However, this is not always the case as people have varied sketching skills which might not be good always. Thus, to foster creativity, it is suggested to use predefined modelling elements. Hence, it becomes important to support the designer’s creativity by providing them with the required modelling elements for designing models in early phases of the innovation process. Therefore, in this thesis an approach is suggested, empowering designers to add new modelling elements for designing unseen scenarios. This approach not only fosters agility but also assigns semantics to the new element by storing it in the ontology, making it machine interpretable. The results show that it is possible to add new elements in an agile environment and that the ontology gets extended on its own. This is made possible with the implementation of Agile and Ontology Aided Modeling Environment (AOAME).
