As software applications grow in complexity, the necessity for effective and efficient testing methods becomes increasingly evident. This study investigates the development and application of an ontology-based meta-modelling language for software test cases, aiming to enhance the expressiveness, reusability, and scalability of test artifacts.
The proposed meta-modelling language utilizes ontological structures to represent and categorize various components of software test cases, such as test objectives, test data, and test plans, across diverse testing environments to facilitate progress.
This research explores the integration of a meta-modelling language into existing software testing frameworks and evaluates its impact on test case design, evaluation, and management.
