According to a previous market analysis, trainin has identified a demand for sports-related activities while travelling. The success of this project depends on collaboration with major corporations for its implementation. This bachelor thesis explores strategies to enhance the appeal of trainin in order to secure support from major corporations.
An extensive literature review identified key factors influencing large corporations' support for startups. This was followed by qualitative interviews with executives of major corporations to evaluate these factors' significance. The main components include innovation, scalability, risk mitigation, and cultural fit.
The study reveals that companies tend to collaborate with start-ups when there is strong alignment with corporate strategic objectives, particularly strategic goals. When it comes to innovation, it is key that the innovation can be easily integrated into the current business environment. Scalability is another aspect corporations consider; a company needs to be profitable and have the potential to grow. Risk management is a crucial component, especially in the healthcare sector, where compliance with laws, especially data protection, is important. trainin can increase its chances of attracting corporate partners by focusing on areas where its goals are congruent with those of the prospective corporate entity. Providing solutions that show how trainin's creative concepts may be easily integrated into potential corporate partners' frameworks is key. Both the presentation of a sound risk management strategy and a scalable business model are of equal importance.
