Learning and knowledge are critical for an enterprise in the information age. Both support an enterprise to be successful. This research work tries to model learning goals and related key performance indicators for the learning dimension related to a business process. The two research strategies of design research and case study research are applied for the research design. The admission process at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland, School of Business is used for the case study. The process supports the school regarding the admission of candidates for two master study programs. 13 concrete learning scenarios are elicited related to the admission process. Every learning scenario shows who is learning and why someone is learning. The 13 elicited learning scenarios related to the admission process are further elaborated as part of the design research. The learning dimension with aspects such as learning goals and key performance indicators is the focus of the further elaborated learning scenarios. Then, the conceptual learning model is derived from the elaborated learning scenarios. This model consists of several classes, one attribute, and several associations....
