By engaging in a comprehensive qualitative and quantitative analysis, including interviews and surveys, the research unearthed a number of stakeholder motivations, including the need for effective collaboration, networking opportunities, market expansion, exposure, and learning prospects. However, alongside these aspirations, the research also uncovered many challenges, which might impact seamless startup collaboration in the envisioned platform; they include: communication barriers, resource limitations, and divergent visions among the stakeholders.
By proposing an innovative online collaboration platform, this research outlined a number of features that could be implemented into the platform to meet the abovementioned needs and challenges. These features include multilingual support, streamlined project management, and a centralised knowledge-sharing hub, among others. The research underscored the fact that collaborative tools can not only be used in improving communication but fostering environments of trust and shared growth, as well.
Drawing from the essence of the comparative advantage theory, the current research envisioned a harmonious confluence of Swiss and Indian startups, which was guided by the principles of resource optimisation and mutual development. As a driving force for cross-border innovation and economic advancement, the envisioned platform can effectively reshape the collaborative landscape of Swiss and Indian startups.
