HOCHDORF Swiss Nutrition AG realized that low-code platforms offer valuable benefits and could accelerate their digitalization journey. Therefore, the company wants to conduct a high level assessment of their digital maturity, and from there explore how current department business know-how can be leveraged using low-code platforms. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to briefly assess HOCHDORF's digital maturity and to propose a a champions program concept to better leverage low-code platforms in the future.
First, a survey and interview were conducted with selected employees to briefly assess the company's level of digital maturity and identify areas for improvement. Next, a literature review was conducted regarding low-code platforms, citizen development, and champion programs. Based on the literature review and the results of the survey and interviews, a concept for a champions program was developed.
This bachelor thesis gives a general overview of the Digital Maturity of HOCHDORF Swiss Nutrition. This overview includes identified problem points of the company that prevent a higher result. The results obtained in this bachelor thesis can be used as a basis for further projects aimed at improving the digital maturity of HOCHDORF Swiss Nutrition. This analysis and a subsequent literature review were used to design a Champions program consisting of eight processes. The individual processes are described step by step and enable the company to implement the concept accordingly. Based on this, the company can now implement new application projects using the Champions Program and the Low-Code Platform. The bachelor thesis thus provides an interpretative concept for the implementation of a Champions Program with the goal of effectively using business knowledge via low-code platforms as well as a basic assessment of the digital maturity of HOCHDORF Swiss Nutrition.
