In the contemporary age of globalization, adoption of digital technology or digitalization has become an essential part for every organization– big or small. Going digital is now said to be a priority and also a critical success factor for most businesses. Entrepreneurs and leaders within organizations which purports to emerge as an example for rest of the business world, are concentrating on digitalizing their entire internal vertical business operations in order to drive efficiency in the business operations and revenue growth. This is because, concentration of the digital business model mostly lies on generating additional digital revenues and in enabling better interaction with the customers. However, as technology has taken over the world, with digitalization adopted by considerable number of firms, they are forced to turn to measure their position in terms of digital maturity attained in order to enhance their business and contribute to the economic development of the country.
