Modern supply chains are not linear anymore merely complex supply networks with many partners, third-party services where information and products flow in many directions and points that link companies creating interdependencies as well as risks particularly cyber-risks because information has a worth to somebody, is the essence of a company, can be shared via communications and information technologies therefore, modern supply chains are at greater risk of a cyber-attack which can disturb the business continuity and provoke more damage than any other type of risk.Cyber-attacks are becoming the “new normal” way to do business, many well-known companies have been already impacted by one as per example last year a ransomware called “Petya” affected the biggest shipping line in the world “Maersk Sealand” considered as the most significant disruption ever in global shipping because of its scale and cost of recovering. This event was unquestionably a “wake-up” call to all business predominantly logistics companies to assess how they are managing cyber-risks....
